This website (“site”) is operated by [madmacman limited] (referred to on this site as “the Company, “we”, “us” or “our”). Your use of this site is governed by these terms of use. By accessing and browsing this site you agree to be bound by these terms of use. We make this site available to you to in order to provide information about our products and services.

Warranty terms

Warranty on parts ruled as defective up until 90 days after the date service was purchased. Warranty only valid on part(s) replaced during original service. No warranty on liquid damage repair. All sales are final unless an accessory or physical part(not repair) has been purchased(no refunds for repair services). Refund must be requested within 7 days of purchase date. Refund will be issued once item is received back at madmacman.com. No refunds on repair services purchased and rendered.

Reckless use or abuse of your device will terminate this warranty.  Reckless use consists of improper installation, exposure to extreme cold or heat, water damage, over charging through use of a docking station, impact damage, or any other situation above and beyond normal wear and tear.

Through inspection, the technicians can determine whether the device has experienced damage outside of the repairs made by madmacman Ltd. Any such damage will void the warranty. Additionally, the warranty will be voided if the technicians detect tampering to the part.

Download our Return Merchandise form and must provide correct detail on the return items. Such as: LCD has dark back light; White screen after installing the LCD; Bottom section of the digitizer not working, wrong items, wrong quantity etc. If the return form is missing detail of the problem, invoice # and invoice date, return will be ignored.

If you provide wrong information on the return form, such as if the LCD has cracked light and you wrote as white screen LCD, we will not processed your return.Send a copy of original invoice with your return.Return items must be in new condition as received or if an item is tampered with or your return will not be honored and shipped back.

All returns take 1 to 2 weeks to process.
Replacement for or wrong items / DOA, must report within 7 days after order is received. Make sure check received items carefully after shipment is delivered.
If return wrong items (order by your own mistake) on spare parts, there is a 30% restocking fee when you return them.
All shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
We do not supply Installation instructions, and are not responsible for damage to equipment or parts during installation using third party install Guides.

Terms of services and repairs

Purchaser of service will truthfully and to the best of his/her own knowledge select the most appropriate repair. madmacman.com will do a full inspection on the phone prior to repair being completed. If other problems are found with the phone, madmacman.com will contact the owner immediately before completing repairs.

If you send madmacman.com a phone that is beyond repair, we will contact you. If you do not truthfully select the right repair(to your best knowledge), we reserve the right to refuse service and return your phone.

If your water damaged phone can not be repaired satisfactorily, customer will have the option to receive a the phone back, or sell the phone to madmacman.com. If your item has water damage, no warranty will be given on any repair. madmacman.com retains the right to refuse any repair.

Special Repair- madmacman Ltd will not be liable for the refund of any deposits or monies paid in the event that a device is proven to have sustained impact damage, liquid damage and/or is a dead device as detailed below and madmacman Ltd minimum charge will apply.

Devices found to have sustained liquid*12 or impact damage*13, Microwave & Radiation damage *14 and devices deemed ‘dead on arrival’ (DOA*11) will not be covered by the standard three month madmacman Ltd service warranty.

*11. Dead On Arrival (DOA): Whereby the device cannot power on, or is unable to boot successfully - termed ‘DOA’.

*12. Liquid Damage: Where evidence of moisture, whether caused by liquid, solid or gas, is apparent on or within the device.

*13. Impact Damage: Where evidence of physical damage caused by external force is apparent on or within the device.

*14. Microwave & Radiation damage: Where evidence of radiation / microwave burn, whether caused by microwave or other form of radiation, is apparent on or within the device.

Intellectual Property rights

All intellectual property on this site, including without limitation any trade marks, text, graphics and copyright, is owned by us or our content suppliers. We are the exclusive owner of all rights in the compilation, design and layout of this site.

Right to use site and content

You may use this site only for the purposes for which it was provided. You must not use this site for fraudulent or other unlawful activity or otherwise do anything to damage or disrupt this site.

You may reproduce, copy and distribute the content of this site provided you only use that content for informational, non-commercial purposes and any reproduction includes a prominent acknowledgement of the Company’s rights in the relevant content. You may not reproduce, copy of distribute the content on this site for any other purpose of in any other way without the Company’s prior written consent.If you wish to link to any part of this site, you must get the Company’s prior written consent.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a madmacman.com product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, the company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, the company shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

All liability excluded

To the extent permitted by law:

all warranties, representations and guarantees (whether express, implied or statutory) are excluded, including without limit, suitability, fitness for purpose, accuracy or completeness of this site or the content on or accessed through it; and

we will not be liable for any damage, data loss or expenses, or indirect losses or consequential damages of any kind, suffered or incurred by you in connection with your access to or use of this site or the content on or accessed through it.We also dispose of unrepairable items, after advise to customer regarding the state of the item, if we receive no communication or reply within 60 days.

If no reply from our communication after 60 days from repair service completion or assessment, madmacman.com will reserve the right to discard your device to recover any moneys owing.

If you are given equipment on loan, it must be returned within 7 days following (a) express notice that equipment sent by you for repair shall not be repaired; or (b) a request to discontinue the service.

If the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, you may have rights or remedies which are not excluded nor limited by the above. If you are using this site or its content for business purposes, the above exclusions and limits will apply and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply.

Additional Terms

Additional terms and conditions may apply for certain products or services which may be available through this site and any such additional terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with these terms of use.

Privacy Policy

The Company’s Privacy Policy sets out how and when the Company collects, hold, uses and discloses personal information about you. The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms of use.


We do not guarantee that any content will be current, accurate or complete when you access it. However, we will take steps to correct any error or inaccuracy in any content which is brought to our attention within a reasonable time.
